Living Arrows 6/52

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.” Kahlil Gibran

Nate // Want to know who the giggliest little boy is when he is getting dressed for the day? Nate. He loves being naked and it’s so lovely to see his baby chubbiness, it’s one of the only things still babyish about him… he chubby legs and his chubby little hands and feet.  Sometimes when he is getting changed, he will pull his feet right into his mouth… he laughs so hard when I look in shock and squeal “eeeeew grooooss”!  He knows every part of his body now too and can say each of them and point them out.

Ollie // Biggest was off school today with his asthma.  He was wheezy all night and had an awful cough.  Today he snuggled up in my bed and recovered… he recovered pretty quickly and despite the tightness in his chest, he does not have the ability to lie in bed for a whole day. That’s not something I ever had trouble with, welcome to a life with energetic little boys eh? Come bedtime, biggest was bright as a button again and so I have him a haircut and a bath.

These pictures are beautiful. I love lifestyle photography and often shoot the same way…as the day unfolds and little moments just like this. Great to discover your blog via #sitsblogging today.

It’s so tough when they’re asthmatic but wouldn’t stay still! My little guy (now 10!) had terrible asthma through the toddler and preschool years and thankfully is doing so much better now. Hang in there, mama!

Such sweet photos. Baby chubbiness is pretty much the cutest thing ever….my husband and I were just discussing our 4-month old’s hand fat and how much we love it. 🙂 I’m glad your biggest little one feels better! No fun to have a sick kiddo. 😦

My youngest was 5 years old before I could keep him clothed long enough to make it through school. the minute he walked in the door he would strip down to his unders. I will stop back by, I love your blog! Stopping by from #SITSBLogging.
