Living Arrows 2/52

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.” Kahlil Gibran

Nate // I am glad to say that since last week, this dude is feeling so so much better.  The weather was miserable outside today so we had a house day, Nate did jigsaws and puzzles and played trains and lego.  He took his normal nap and while he napped I did yoga.  He always takes a moment to come around when he wakes up but when I put his lunch out for him he was a lot happier.  He ate curried pear and parsnip soup in a mug, while Marcie sat close by waiting for him to drop some!  This is a daily thing.  She waits beside him as he eats, in case some should fall on the floor.

Ollie // Ollie is into his second week back at school and came home with homework for this week.  He was a little frustrated after school today, so when we went to Smyths to buy Nate’s birthday presents, I picked him up a little tiny Lego set to cheer him up.  He built it entirely by himself… something he is doing more of lately.  He had a friend come over to play after school too and Doughzy Donuts delivered us a whole dozen of their doughy goodness!!!

Love the first two photos so much, Marcie is very cute! I always thought having a dog would be good for me not hoovering as much. 😉 And I love the shot of him sitting on the stairs. Thanks for joining in Living Arrows and the Ordinary Moments. xx
